According to the social authority, 461 new corona infections were registered in Hamburg on Saturday. That is 26 fewer cases than a week ago and 22 fewer than on Good Friday.
According to the authorities, a total of 62,753 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 53,800 of these can now be regarded as recovered.
Incidence value again below 160
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell slightly to 158.8. Exactly a week ago this value was 144.1.
As of Thursday, 281 corona patients were treated in Hamburg’s hospitals – 4 more than the day before. 91 people are in the city’s intensive care units, two more than on Wednesday.
Four more deaths
According to the RKI, 1,397 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That is 4 more deaths than last reported.
