The decline in contaminations in Ile-de-France has continued since the beginning of April and accelerated the week of May 24 with less than 15,000 contaminations against even more than 20,000 the previous week. After decreasing from the beginning of April to the end of June, the number of coronavirus contaminations increased during the week of June 28 and should again increase during the week of July 5 according to the latest data from Public Health France. The new contaminations mainly concern young people.

For the first time, the number of Covid-19 contaminations decreases below the level reached between the 2nd and 3rd waves. The incidence rate is also melting. The decline concerns all ages even if the new cases concern 80% of those under 50.
