According to the social authority, 447 new corona infections were registered in Hamburg on Friday. That is 36 fewer cases than a week ago and 59 fewer than on Thursday.
According to the social authorities, a total of 64,779 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 55,500 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value has been falling for nine days
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell slightly to 131.0. It was already the ninth day with a declining seven-day incidence in Hamburg. Exactly a week ago the value was 160.1.
Two more deaths
According to the social authorities, 290 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals – 14 fewer than previously stated. As a result, 103 people are in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,406 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That is two more than the last one stated.
