SAccording to an Ifop poll for Cadre employment carried out in mid-March, 20% of French executives say they are dissatisfied with their professional situation. This dissatisfaction rate jumped six points compared to the previous year. And since the job market is dynamic in most sectors, 44% of executives surveyed plan to leave their company. Conversely, only 45% of people express the wish to stay in their current company.
To explain their dissatisfaction, 59% of respondents mentioned problems with their manager as well as a lack of recognition. In second place, the issue of wages is a major source of dissatisfaction. 20% of those surveyed also mention the “difficulty” of their activity, linked to a heavy workload and stress.

“Boomerang employees”
These figures are at an unprecedented level since 2018. 47% of executives surveyed admit to regularly looking at job offers. The trend is particularly marked among executives with the best career development prospects: the wealthiest categories as well as people occupying managerial positions.
