AIDAmar

Die AIDAmar was completed in 2012 at the Meyer Werft in Papenburg and is 253 meters long with a width of 32 meters. With 2200 passengers (double occupancy), the Sphinx class is one of the medium-sized ships and can therefore call at many different ports.

The AIDAmar has a total of 8 restaurants (e.g. Italian & Asian). The buffet restaurants offer included meals and some free drinks. In the specialty restaurants, food is free, but you have to pay extra for drinks. All other offers are subject to an additional charge. There are 13 bars spread across the ship. The three pools are unfortunately not always sufficient for a ship of this size, especially in warm regions, as they are rather small. The “Theatrium” in the middle of the ship also usually offers too few seats with a corresponding view of the stage.

All kinds of cultural and leisure activities are offered. Among other things, there is also a spa and wellness area (2,600 square meters / for an additional charge), casino, kids club, cinema, sports field, outdoor jogging track, shopping street, flower shop and discotheque. The on-board language is German and the currency is the Euro.
