42 Dugg apologizes after homophobic comments on Instagram

A few hours after the publication in story of a message with homophobic contents, 42 Dugg decided to apologize.

42 Dugg finds himself in an uncomfortable situation after the remarks he made this Friday, July 30. Indeed, the 25-year-old rapper has come under heavy criticism in recent hours after posting a video in which he lovingly kisses his son’s cheeks and neck, while wishing him a happy birthday. A scene that made some uncomfortable followers, who did not hesitate to let the artist know in a commentary, describing his suspicious behavior and more than awkwardly assimilating it to homosexuality. Reviews estimated free by the rapper co-signed at 4PF (the label of Lil Baby) and CMG (Yo’s Gotti), to which he responded the next day in a lively and fairly raw manner, while implicitly referring to the tensions created by the clearly homophobic discourse of DaBaby during the Rolling Festival Loud a few days ago : “No one validates your freakish gay delusions you’ve been into lately […] When one of us (rappers) lash out at you, you call us homophobic, but just know that we don’t give a fuck about this stuff […] I’m sucking b*te bunch of crazy ”.

Apologies presented the next day

Scathing remarks, which clearly seem to be a hot reaction from 42 Dugg, who did not appreciate that some Internet users involved his son in this story. The artist from Detroit thus apologized later, aware of the violence of his words: “It was never my intention to offend anyone, even though I was also offended. So I apologize for that ”. The interpreter of We Paid, then tried to explain his reaction and his words, arguing not having put up with seeing his son associated with these more than inappropriate criticisms: “Usually I’m a very private person, especially when it comes to something that is personal to me, like my son or my family in general. People ask me all the time to share more photos of my private moments, and thus show my fans things other than my music. The day before yesterday (July 30), I thought I was going to do this. My son’s birthday fell this weekendSo I thought to myself that I was going to share with you all the love and fun we were enjoying. My son’s posted video and photos weren’t meant to get negative feedback. It was just us. So the fact that you took that happy moment to do with it what you did, it just reminds me of why I keep the subject of my family private. I will no longer show my son or any member of my mif, you just lost this privilege. I’m just going to use my networks to promote my music. Nothing more, nothing less”. Apologies more sincere and understandable than that of his friend DaBaby, who for more than a week now, has suffered the full brunt of his controversial remarks, as evidenced by the cancellation of his presence at the festival Lollapalooza in Chicago this weekend.
