The detailed program for the 41st edition of the Tour de Martinique, which will take place from July 9 to 17, 2022, was officially presented.
The event’s budget of around 400,000 euros is not immune to the increase in the cost of living. The committee has limited the number of delegation invitations taking into account ticket prices and accommodation costs.

Nine stages, 1080 kilometers, the event is referenced in the elite class (national and federal hope – 2.12.1) therefore open to local teams and invited by the organizer.
The following will take part in the tour: Team Martigues Sport Cyclisme, the Defense team, a team from mainland Belgium, and the selections from Guyana and Guadeloupe.
No teams from Colombia and Venezuela given the presence of riders from these regions in our local clubs.
12 bikers from the gendarmerie will ensure the safety of the peloton. they will be helped by volunteer signallers from the organization.
Alain Dédé, who has done a lot for the Martinican sports movement and former boss of the round skiff society, is the honorary president of the 41st edition of the tour.

This 41st edition will allow Martiniquais to gather around one of the most important sporting and popular events… I know the difficulties and the responsibilities involved in organizing such an event. I also know the expectation, the feeling and above all the need that the Martiniquais feels through this competition.

The world of cycling is also honored. Jacques Jesbac is the actual president of the tour. He was successively runner, technical manager, manager, elected to the committee and now president of the François bike club. He was part of the selection that won the tour in 1985 with Philippe Montagnac.

The committee registers new sponsors. They will be visible in the publicity caravan which will pass on the circuit, one hour before the riders.
Saturday July 9: Sainte-Luce – Le Marin over 129 km.
Sunday July 10, two sections (second stage): Marin and Fort-de-France.
In the afternoon, individual time trial over 8.3 km
The third stage, Monday, July 11 arrives in Trinité after a departure from Fort-de-France.
On Tuesday July 12, foray into the mountains with stage 4 between Trinité and Macouba.
Wednesday, July 13: a few more mountainous foothills on the program between Macouba and Sainte Marie.
On July 14, the city of Ducos welcomes the tour after 121 kilometers.
On Friday July 15, the caravan stops at Francois.
Saturday July 16. Rivière-Pilote the tour stops at Rivière-Pilote. The traditional individual time trial continues in the afternoon.
Sunday July 17 final on the Lamentin circuit. No passage through Gallochat but six climbs of Morne Pitault.
