41-year-old is in custody after arson attack in Freiburg district court – Freiburg

The woman poured gasoline on Wednesday afternoon and lit it. She then she ran away in the car. The police then issued a manhunt. Later that day she turned herself in to the police. The fire was quickly extinguished and only smoke and debris damage occurred. Three people were injured in the fire, two people went to a clinic suspected of smoke inhalation. According to district court spokesman Lars Petersen, such an incident has not occurred in the past twenty years. Sessions at the district court had to be suspended during the fire alarm period.
