17.11.24 – Incredible! It took several police officers late on Friday evening to subdue a 41-year-old who was apparently completely unruly. The arrest of the woman from Hanau was preceded by several crimes for which she is now accused.
Shortly after 10 p.m., according to the police report, the woman is said to have threatened three men aged 35, 38 and 39 with a firearm in a parking lot at the Mittelbuchen multi-purpose hall on Kesselstädter Straße in Hanau and had previously insulted one of them racially. The background to this is currently unknown.
41-year-old pushes officer away
She then drove away in her black Mercedes towards Wilhelmsbad. A police patrol found her there a short time later in another parking lot. Despite stop signals, she is said to have continued driving at a significantly excessive speed (well over 100 kilometers per hour) before driving into a parking lot in the forest between Hanau-Mittelbuchen and Wilhelmsbad and stopping briefly. When the law enforcement officers approached the car with the HU license plate, she accelerated again. Back at the multi-purpose hall in Mittelbuchen, the 41-year-old ran aggressively towards the officers, whereupon she is said to have pushed one officer away and struck another.
She is said to have immediately hit one of the officers in the head with her cell phone, who was then slightly injured. Only with the help of additional patrols could she be arrested and handcuffed. The woman arrested was also slightly injured and was then briefly treated medically by an ambulance crew that was called to the scene. The officers found a loaded blank pistol and a stun gun in her car – both were confiscated.
1.3 parts per million
Since she was under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of over 1.3 per mille, she had to be taken to the office where her blood was taken. On the way there, she is also said to have kicked and pinched the law enforcement officers. She even bit an officer’s sleeve.
The woman is now facing criminal proceedings on suspicion of insulting, threatening and physically attacking law enforcement officers. Investigations are also underway for violations of the Weapons Act, drunk driving and a prohibited motor vehicle race. Witnesses to the incidents should contact the Hanau I police station (06181 100-123). (js/pm)+++
