400 revelers interrupted by New York police

New York Police have put an end to an illegal party that was being held in the heart of Manhattan. No less than 400 revelers were on site.

The police interrupted the party at a business premises in the Fashion District. They found “people who did not respect physical distancing and did not wear masks,” the NYPD said.

Four people have been arrested for illegally operating this holiday in the midst of a pandemic.

One of the organizers faces charges of possession of a weapon, obstruction of the government, threat and illegal sale of alcohol.

Among the three other suspects are a DJ and two other employees who face charges in connection with the health measures against COVID-19.
