For 3 Syrians, a total of 21 thousand 75 TL, including 14 thousand 700 TL and 6 thousand 375 TL compensation from the Land Hunting Law No. 4915, and 19 thousand 126 TL fines within the scope of the Animal Protection Law No. 5199 for 2 dogs. The suspects, who were sentenced to a total fine of 40 thousand 201 liras, said that they hunted the arrowed hedgehog because the meat was delicious and medicinal. The Syrians explained that they frightened the hedgehogs with pitbull dogs, took them out of the nest and killed them with pointed tools. It was learned that the dogs were delivered to Salihli Municipality Animal Shelter while 3 people were released.
