He noted that the goal of the target program is to support the creation of new original works of various genres and styles, promoting excellence in creative activity. 73 projects were submitted to the competition, requesting funding for an amount of € 177.68.
Among the major beneficiaries is a composer Rihards Zaļupe3,656 euros were awarded to the symphony “Dievs / Love / Service”, 2,500 euros were allocated to composer Juri Karlsons, who is working on a concert for the “Secret Garden” orchestra, and 1,828 euros were awarded to the poet Kārlis Vērdins for writing the libretto of the opera “Rosa Alchemica” by Krista Auznieks.
The composer Ugis Prauliņas also received 1,828 euros for a piece for saxophone quartet and symphony orchestra, 1,828 euros to the composer Santa Ratniece for the composition “Laghima” for instrumental ensemble, 1,828 euros to the composer Anna Veismane for the music of the concert performance “Yellow Pavement “, composer Gundega Šmite marked 1828 euros for the song “Night songs” for soprano and percussion ensemble.
