In Berlin-Neukölln there was a mass brawl with around 40 people involved. Witnesses reported on Tuesday that two groups on Glasower Strasse attacked each other with knives and pipes, the police announced on Wednesday.

The cause of the dispute is still unknown. A reference to the clan milieu cannot currently be ruled out and will be checked, the police said when asked.
The officers arrested an injured 21-year-old who fled and tried to get rid of a bag of narcotics. The police are investigating the background to the dispute and serious breach of the peace. (dpa)
