A 4-year-old boy suffocated in Edolo after he ingested a piece of sausage while he was eating with his father.
The little one stopped breathing during lunch. Given the impossibility of making him spit the morsel, he was rushed to the hospital: here the doctors were able to extract the stuck food, but – although they then tried to revive him for over an hour – for the child ‘was nothing to do.
Upset by the terrible and senseless tragedy, a family of Albanian origins, which has resided in Valcamonica for a long time.
