4 weapons threaten Al-Ahly in its battle against Wydad

On the other hand, a Moroccan report on Thursday monitored the most prominent weapons on which Wydad coach Miguel Jamondi is relying on.

The Moroccan newspaper Al-Mukhtab believes that the attacking trio of Wydad, consisting of Badie Awok, Kazadi Kasungu and Ismail Al-Haddad, will have an important role in deciding the meeting in favor of the Moroccan team.

She indicated that the mission of the trio will not be easy for Al-Ahly’s defensive strength, especially as the confrontation will be difficult on both sides.

She also stressed that the midfield players will also have an effective role during the match, in the event that they are at their usual technical level, especially Walid Al-Karti, whose level has slightly decreased during the last period.

Looking at Badi ‘Awok, who moved to Wydad at the beginning of the 18/19 season from Hassania Agadir, the 25-year-old participated in 23 league matches during the past season (scoring 5 goals and making 4 assists) in addition to 9 other appearances in the championship. The CAF Champions League is in its current version (scored two goals and scored like them)

As for the Congolese Kasungu, who received his services from Wydad at the beginning of the current season from JSM, he contributed to scoring 15 goals for the Moroccan team during the local league and CAF Champions League (scoring 10 goals and making 5 successful passes).

As for Ismail Al-Haddad, he is among the oldest players in the ranks of Wydad, as he joined him at the beginning of the 15/16 season, coming from Hassania Agadir.

The Moroccan player, with his team, participated this season in 20 matches in the domestic league (scoring 7 goals and making 5 assists), as well as 8 matches in the African Champions League (scoring two goals and making the same).

As for the Karti “Rummana Mizan” Wydad, in spite of its decline – as indicated by the Moroccan newspaper -, it is one of the main pillars of the Moroccan team that is indispensable.

The 26-year-old made his mark in 27 matches in the local league championship (he missed only 3 matches), during which he made 5 assists, and also participated in 9 matches in the Champions League (scored a goal).
