Some stains from clothes are easy to wash, others – almost impossible. This could also be applied to blood stains. If your clothes are stained with blood, it is recommended that you take immediate action, consider these four tips.
1. Talcum powder
Mix talcum powder with water to form a paste-like consistency. Apply the resulting paste on the stain. Wait until the paste is completely dry. Then, wipe off the excess paste from the garment and wash the dirty garment.
2. Kola
Pour cola into a bowl, dip the dirty garment in it. Leave it to soak in the cola overnight. The next day, wash the soiled garment in the washing machine.
3. Salt
If you’ve barely got blood on your clothes, one of the most effective ways to get them clean again is to rinse them in cold water first. Then mix together a small amount of water with salt. Apply the resulting mass on the dirty piece of clothing, leave it there for 20 minutes. Then rinse off the salt and wash the clothes in the washing machine.
4. Vinegar
Pour vinegar over the dirty area or blood stain. Wait about ten to fifteen minutes. Then rub the stain with a towel. At the very end, wash the dirty clothes in the washing machine.
