At least one person was killed and five others injured on Tuesday in the collapse of a four-story parking lot in New York, authorities said.
The emergency services used robots to intervene on the scene of the incident, the instability of the structure having forced the firefighters to stop their intervention.
Authorities, however, said they believed all the victims had been found. The criminal track is not retained.
“We have no reason to believe this is anything other than a meltdown,” New York City Police Chief Keechant Sewell said.
