Trowulan Health Center, Mojokerto regency today reopened after being closed for 8 days. This is because 4 health workers and 1 cleaning worker are positive for COVID-19. Currently, 5 employees who tested positive for Corona are back on duty because they are declared cured.
Head of the Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) Division of the Mojokerto District Health Office, Dr. Langit Kresna Janitra, said that initially, the closure of the Trowulan Community Health Center was planned for only 6 days. Namely 10-15 August 2020.
However, August 16 and 17 coincide with red dates. So that this first-level health facility just reopened this morning.
“We are reopening today. Because August 16-17 is the red date. Trowulan Puskesmas is not an inpatient health center. If hospitalization is open even though it is red,” said Dr. Langit when confirmed by detik.com, Tuesday (18/8/2020).
Before Trowulan Health Center reopened to serve patients, continued Dr. Langit, a number of preparations were made. Starting from sterilizing health centers using disinfectant fluids and UV rays, to ensuring that health workers infected with the Corona virus have recovered.
“Four health workers and one employee have recovered because the results of the swab test were negative. They are all without clinical symptoms, have returned to work today,” he explained.
