4 People on the Net by OTT in South Kalimantan KPK office arrived with prisoner belts

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

Four people who were caught in a hand-holding operation (OTT), including the Head of Public Works and Public Housing Service (PUPR) South Kalimantan Regional Government (Pemprov South Kalimantan), arrived at the Red and White building of KPK, Jakarta, Monday. (7/10) afternoon.

Outside of KPK practice, the four would immediately wear the distinctive orange uniforms of KPK prisoners. They arrived around 19:50 WIB.

A number of KPK workers and police personnel guarded their presence at the two-coloured KPK building. They closely use masks to protect the camera light.

No press statement was issued by the four. They were immediately taken to the second floor for further investigation.

By now, two more people caught by OTT had already reached the KPK.

Those arrested included four state officials and two from the private sector. In the quiet operation held yesterday, the Anti-Corruption Commission managed to get more than 10 billion IDR.

“Typical PBJ [Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa]”The hiring of project executives with a request for a fee by state officials is a common practice in PBJ,” KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata said in a written message, Monday (7/10).
