Genshin Impact is on planning a major update 1.1 which will be released with an estimated date of 11 November – 23 November. In this big update, there will likely be 4 new characters in Genshin Impact that you can get and play with.
Of the 4 characters that SPIN Esports will strip, 2 characters with 5 stars and 2 characters with 4 stars will be released. It’s not certain that the 4 characters below will be released by Mihoyo because the developer is still a secret. But it is very likely that these 4 characters will be released from rumors on Reddit and the Genshin Impact forum.
Zhongli
- Element: Geo
- Weapons: Polearm
- Scarcity: 5 stars
For players who have completed all story quests, it means that you have met Zhongli. This character is rumored to be a playable character in the 1.1 Genshin Impact update.
Like other characters, Zhongli can only be obtained from the Gacha system, and since he has a rarity of 5 stars, it will not be easy to acquire this character.
If you get Zhongli, you are very lucky because only a few characters use Polearm weapons. It looks like this character is very strong and fun to play, you can watch the gameplay demo below:
For Elemental Skills, it will be very effective when you try mining ore. Using Elemental Skills will issue Geo elemental damage to nearby enemies. And Elemental Skills can be charged (tap and hold) and there will be burst damage that will destroy objects made from Geo such as: Stone Shields and Ore Deposits.
For Elemental Burst, the meteor will be dropped and the enemy hit by this meteor will turn into stone. The effect is similar to the effect of Frozen (Hydro + Cryo), which freezes the opponent.

Childe
- Element: Hydro
- Weapons: Bow
- Scarcity: 5 stars
Childe is also a character who is already in the game as an NPC and is also rumored to be released in the 1.1 Genshin Impact update. You will meet Childe when you do a story quest in Liyue.

What makes Childe unique is his ability to attack with long and close range attacks depending on your battle mode. Childe uses the bow as a normal attack and will damage your opponent with Hydro when you do a charged attack.
Childe’s Elemental Skill will allow Childe to exchange his Bow (ranged attack) into a Dagger or Polearm for melee attacks. And what’s even crazier, this skill doesn’t have a cooldown so you can flexibly change the attack mode depending on the situation. When you use close range it also looks like every attack will transmit Hydro to your opponent! So it will be easy for you Melt or Frozen.
There are also 2 types of Elemental Burst, depending on whether Childe is using close or long range mode. When you use the Bow, you will shoot a wide Hydro attack towards your opponent. When you use a dagger, Childe will cut your opponent with a large area.

Xinyan
- Element: Pyro
- Weapons: Claymore
- Scarcity: 4 stars

Xinyan is the 3rd character to be rumored to be released in the next update. Xinyan is a 4 star character, which should be much easier to get than the two characters above.
The animation attack is similar to that of other Claymore users. When squeezed the elemental skill will make Xinyan turn the guitar (which is like an ax) around it. When an enemy hits this skill, Xinyan gets a stronger Pyro shield.
For his Elemental Burst, Xinyan will play his guitar which will make the enemy flinch back and make the surrounding area burn.

Diona
- Element: Cryo
- Weapons: Bow
- Scarcity: 4 stars
This is the last character that is predicted to come in the November update. Diona is an archer who appears in the closed beta of Genshin Impact in China.
Reporting from Polonoid75, who is the redditor who participated in the closed beta, Diona’s Elemental Burst will throw a cocktail on the ground which will damage enemies and heal friends. The Elemental Skill for now is still unknown.
