A 4-month-old baby was urgently transported from Madeira to the mainland, on the Portuguese Air Force plane.
The transport was carried out yesterday, on the Falcon 50 aircraft, from the 504 Squadron ‘Linces’, which took off from Portela at 2:10 pm, with a military nurse and a civilian medical team on board, towards Funchal, where it landed at 3:30 pm. After the baby boarded, the aircraft returned to the Continent.
“Upon arrival in Lisbon, the baby was immediately transferred to an INEM transport team, which sent him to a Hospital Unit”, informed the Air Force.
