In a strongly worded statement, the Ministry of Public Health strongly condemned these ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon‘s health sector, noting that the attack comes in the context of a dangerous escalation affecting two major hospitals in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. The statement said that the Israeli occupation, following its threats against the Al-Sahel Hospital in the southern bank region, carried out an attack targeting one of the entrances to the Hariri Hospital, which is a vital medical facility serves thousands of patients every day, and includes a headquarters for the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The Ministry explained that these attacks show a continuation of war crimes committed by Israel without regard to humanitarian and international laws.
