This discovery has been observed since June 12, 2021 after nova Hercules V1674 released an explosion so bright that it can be seen from Earth with binoculars or even the naked eye.

For information, A nova is created due to white dwarf (dead star) which absorbs the material of a companion star that is close to it.

Over time, the tiny star sucks matter from its companion star, causing it to fall onto the white dwarf and cause it to heat up.

This heat then causes an explosive reaction that launches matter at nearly the speed of light and releases a burst of energy known as a nova.

Experts from Arizona State University hope their observations will help answer bigger questions about the chemistry of our solar system, the death of stars and the evolution of the universe.
