Clash involving two groups of mass organizations occurred in the campus area Krisna Dwipayana University (Unkris) in Pondok Gede, Bekasi City. That clash killed one man.
The bloody incident occurred on Tuesday (31/8). The two groups attacked each other using sharp weapons to stones.

Police confirmed that no students were involved in the clashes. The clashes that occurred involved two groups of mass organizations.
“No, not students, mass organizations (that clashed),” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police AKBP Heru Purnomo when contacted, Wednesday (1/9/2021).
It is not known what triggered the clashes. Police refused to speculate on the issue that triggered the deadly clashes.
“If the problem is the cause, we will investigate it first. I can’t guess,” added Heru.
1 Person Killed
The Bekasi Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Heru Purnomo said there were dead victim in the event. The victim was a member of a mass organization from one of the conflicting groups.
“There is one person who died from (Ormas) ‘SB’,” said Heru when contacted, Wednesday (1/9/2021).
