The police are continuing to develop an investigation into the assault Police Headquarters which is conducted Zakiah Aini. One of them is by investigating the origin airgun used by Zakiah in carrying out the attack at Police Headquarters.
The police have arrested an airgun seller to Zakiah. The seller known to be named Muchsin Kamal alias Imam Muda was arrested by the National Police’s Anti-terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88.
From this arrest, a number of facts emerged.
1. Muchsin was arrested in Banda Aceh
Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said Muchsin was arrested in Banda Aceh. Muchsin was arrested last Thursday (1/4).
“On Thursday (1/4), the Densus 88 AT Team arrested Muchsin Kamal alias Imam Muda at Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh-NAD,” said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono via text message, Saturday (3/4/2021).
2. Selling airguns to Zakiah Aini online
During police questioning, Muchsin was found to have sold airgun to Zakiah Aini. The sale was made online.
“ZA bought airguns from Muchsin Kamal online,” he said.
3. Zakiah Aini and Muchsin do not know each other
Head of Penum for the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, said Zakiah and Muchsin Kamal did not know each other. Muchsin sells airgun to Zakiah Aini online.
“(ZA and MK) do not know each other,” said Ramadhan when contacted, Saturday (3/4/2021).
