4 factors in Pratama Arhan’s performance at Suwon FC are largely unimproved

JAKARTA – Since joining Suwon FC, K-League 1 Club, on January 16, 2024, performance Pratama Arhan it has not shown a pleasing development.

1. Change

To move to a league that is very different, both in terms of playing style, physicality and climate, certainly requires a long period of adjustment. Perhaps Arhan is still struggling to adapt to the new environment and demands of the game in the K-League.

“Besides the question of skill, if you adapt to the physical strength and speed of the K League, the time (opportunity) for that will be closer,” said Suwon FC Coach Kim Eun-jung.

2. Awareness

There are high quality players in the K-League, both domestic and foreign. Competition for places in the starting eleven is fierce. Pratama Arhan has not yet had the right move to show his best abilities.

After just a month of joining Suwon FC, PSSI called him for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup and the play-off round of the 2024 Paris Olympics in April-May. He only returned to the club in the middle of May, when the K-League continued to spread.

Suwon FC coach Kim Eung-jung revealed that Pratama Arhan almost made his debut, but was called up to the Indonesia U-23 National Team. During that period, he played 9 Suwon FC matches in K League 1 and South Korea Cup.
