MEDLEY, Fla. – Two women, a man and a teenager died after a three-vehicle accident Saturday morning in Medley Township, Miami-Dade County, authorities said.
According to Detective Andre D. Martin, spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, officers responded to the scene of the accident shortly before 1 a.m., at the intersection of Northwest 72nd Avenue and 74th Street. black sedan, two people were found dead and two injured.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pronounced the man and a woman dead at the scene. They transported another woman to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital and used a helicopter to take the teen to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
Hospital staff declared the teenager and the woman deceased. A team from the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to recover the two bodies, while tow trucks removed the mangled cars from the road.
According to Martin, the two deceased people and the two injured people were in a black sedan. Tow trucks responded to the scene to remove the remains of the sedan, a black Cadillac CTS with side damage, and a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was also damaged in the accident.
MDPD traffic homicide detectives investigated the cause of the crash. Authorities asked anyone with information about this case or others to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
