If you’re a fan of Super Mario, you’ll definitely love the images that Reddit community member known as Heaup created using artificial intelligence. The latter created realistic images of the Super Mario universe in a slightly more adult version than those we know. Moreover, we even have the impression of finding ourselves in front of a new cinematographic version with the emblematic characters of this license.
Super Mario: a realistic and adult vision
The member Heaup on the platform Reddit has embarked on a project which consists of creating realistic images of the famous Super Mario Bros. license. To do this, he designed prompts which he submitted to generative artificial intelligence to transform Mario, the Princesse Peachthe plant Piranhas et Bowser in more adult versions that give the impression of being in a real film. We therefore find them with more realistic features with outfits that remind us of those we saw in the video games. Artificial intelligence succeeded in the challenge thanks to the prompts of this user to take us into a universe very different from the one we know where everything is colorful, joyful and magical.
Mario has a much tougher visual with a huge hammer that could make Thor blush. As for the Piranhas plant, we see that it has a blood thirst with its long teeth. We are no longer on the cute license at all.
1/ Mario, the main character with a harder visual
2/ The pretty Princess Peach who was a little scratched during the fight
3/ The Machiavellian Bowser who never finished with the Mushroom Kingdom
4/ The terrible Piranhas plant which does not want to let Mario and his friends pass
It should be noted that the images that you have just discovered come from the imagination of this Reddit member who knew how to perfectly use artificial intelligence to generate them. Of course we would like to see a much more adult Super Mario film one day, but Nintendo will never give its approval. We must therefore be satisfied with the creations of fans to dream.
Moreover, we recently had a very different version of the Super Mario license. This time, it was a 90s anime style version in which we could find the main characters of the video game and the graphic style of the cartoons of our childhood.
