4 BUMNs Enter the list of the most valuable companies in Southeast Asia

Four BUMNs are included in the Kantar BrandZ list of the most valuable companies in Southeast Asia. The four BUMNs are PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Seluler (Telkomsel) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI.

This was expressed by BUMN Minister Erick Thohir through his ​​Instagram.

“Thank God, 4 state-owned companies received recognition from the leading global company in the field of marketing and data analytics, Kantar. BrandZ,” Erick wrote as quoted, Tuesday (8/13/2024).

He said that this achievement was the hard work of all parties. He said his party wanted to encourage BUMN to become a motor for economic growth.

“This is the result of the transformation and hard work of all of us so that it can gain recognition at the Southeast Asian level. We want to continue to encourage BUMN to become a locomotive for national economic growth, ” he said.

In the uploaded video, it is explained that Kantar released a list of the 30 Most Valuable Brands in Southeast Asia 2024. These thirty companies have a brand value of US$ 131.1 billion.

Eight of the 30 companies come from Indonesia. Four of them are BUMN. BRI is second, Mandiri Bank 5th, Telkomsel 8th and BNI 30th.
