INDOZONE.ID – 4 asteroid giant is predicted to pass near Earth on Thursday (25/11). Of the 4 asteroids, asteroid 2009 WB105 is the largest with a diameter of up to 120 meters, larger than football field.
Asteroid 2009 WB105 will pass Earth at a speed of about 18.9 kilometers per second or about 67,578 km per hour.
The second asteroid is asteroid 2021 VR4. The object has a diameter of 30 meters with a speed passing through the Earth 27,713 km per hour. This asteroid will be closest to Earth when it passes, where it is only about 804,500 km from Earth.
Third, there is the asteroid 2019 BB5. This object has a diameter of 27 meters. This asteroid will pass at a speed of 30,000 km per hour.
Finally, there is the asteroid 2021 VF11. This object has a diameter of 23 meters and will pass at a speed of 4,713 km per hour.
Nasa said asteroids 2009 WB105 and 2019 BB5 will return to Earth in the first half of next year.
In 2022, asteroid 2009 WB105 is predicted to pass close to Earth twice, namely on April 2, 2022 and May 3, 2022.
Asteroid 2021 VR4 will return near Earth in October 2023, and asteroid 2019 BB5 will not pass near Earth until December 4, 2024.
