NEW YORK – Subway service on the 4/5/6 traces between the Brooklyn Bridge and Metropolis Corridor and 86th Avenue in Manhattan was suspended Friday morning after an individual was struck by a practice, in response to the MTA.
The MTA stated the person was hit by the subway close to twenty eighth St. Paramedics responded to the scene round 9:23 a.m., however the sufferer didn’t survive.
Subway service was affected on account of the investigation.

For service between The Bronx and Brooklyn on the 4 line, take a B or D practice.

4/6 trains at the moment are operating domestically between 14 St-Union Sq and 125 St. There are 5 trains operating on line 2 between Nevins Avenue and 149 St-Grand Concourse.
Southbound 4/5/6 service initially terminated at 86th St. and northbound 4/5 trains terminated at Brooklyn Bridge-Metropolis Corridor and Wall St.
The MTA recommends taking the Q or R practice for Manhattan service and the two practice for Bronx service. Between the Bronx and Brooklyn, passengers should take the B or D practice.
It’s unclear when service will start by Manhattan.
