The third topic forum for digital education by Lancom Systems is about digital implementation strategies and secure networks for future-proof schools. From April 13 to 15, 2021, the German network infrastructure supplier invites representatives from schools and school authorities to the online event. Renowned experts for education, media, data protection and digitization give useful tips and report on their practical experiences. The legally secure allocation of IT services within the scope of the digital pact is also on the agenda. With the Digital Education Forum, Lancom Systems wants to support schools and school authorities in planning their digital education concepts with foresight and implementing them sustainably. The network infrastructure is an important building block: If mistakes are made in the purchase or use, schools can be dearly, for example due to additional effort in service and administration.
According to Lancom Systems, the participants in the third thematic forum can expect a multi-faceted mix of topics and interactive roundtables for implementing digital solutions in the education sector. On the agenda, for example, is the “Digital School 2021: An insight into the current situation” with a keynote speech about the VPN for distance learning and home office by Dirk Hetterich and Tarik Erdemir from Lancom Systems. Eric Heitzer, lawyer and consultant on the EU General Data Protection Regulation, will give a lecture on the protected school space: The legal situation around VPN and 3rd party cookies.
