3GB surprise patch, here’s what’s in it

Surprisingly, here it is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has received a new update in the last few hours by the Konami development team. Some particularly hopeful players may have had a start thinking about the introduction of the much-rumored Chapter 3 but, predictably, it is none of this.

According to the patch notes of the version 1.21 of Metal Gear Solid V, Konami simply proceeded to make one amendment to the terms of the contract that the player stipulates at the first launch of the action-stealth directed by Hideo Kojima published in 2017. A simple legal update, therefore, which will be applied on all platforms for any edition of the game, whether it is the standard Phantom Pain or of the Definitive Edition which also contains the Ground Zeros prequel.

The fact is that the weight of the update, pair of 3GB, is quite suspicious for having introduced such a simple change without any news from the content point of view. Most likely i computer mines have already set to work to find out if something else is hiding inside the update, while the GamesRadar editorial team has come into contact directly with Konami for any clarifications from the Japanese company, which, judging by its latest financial results, does not seem to suffer particularly the absence of Metal Gear Solid from the scenes of the videogame world.
