A number of DJs from NPO 3FM have lost confidence in station manager Sharid Alles. Ron Vergouwen and Arjan Snijders, makers of of podcast This was the radio, and well-established in the radio world. “It has not been confirmed, but a number of DJs have lost confidence in Sharid. I think we’ll hear about that soon,” said Ron.
The reason would be the clash between Sharid and Timur Perlin two weeks ago. Live on the radio, the two argued vigorously, on the question of whether Timur could call a listener back. Sharid forbade him. “It has been discussed with many jocks and editors. It has become a mega riot internally,” said Arjan.
Sharid called interrupting a live broadcast in 2019 ‘a no-go’. “If something really terrible were to happen, I might still intervene, but then it must be really bad,” she said in the podcast ‘Onder Elkaar’ at the time.

According to Ron, a number of DJs have not only lost confidence in Sharid because of the riot. “It is a sum. It is of course not the case that Sharid has managed to get everything done with 3FM. It is judged on the fact that the market share has not remained the same, but has decreased. It says something about management capabilities.”
An NPO spokesperson states that there have been ‘constructive discussions’ with the 3FM DJs.
Sharid has been the channel manager of 3FM since July 2018. Under her leadership, the youth channel has regained little market share. The stock has fluctuated since its arrival between 2 and 2.8 percent. In the heyday of 3FM, that share was above 10 percent.
