The victim, this time, is a 38-year-old, who was discharged from the emergency room with injuries judged to heal in thirty days. It was her 47-year-old husband who fractured her nose, who continued with the threats and insults even in the presence of the police.
It happened on Friday evening 29 December: the soldiers from the Lovere station intervened due to the “code red” in a town in the area following the request for help from the house where the violent episode had just taken place. Taking advantage of the moment in which the 47-year-old left the house, his wife and children called 112. The police, after having collected the testimony of the 38-year-old, waited for her husband to return home, who immediately resumed with insults and the threats. At that point, given the woman’s injuries, the handcuffs were put in place.
The 47-year-old, already known to the police for similar crimes, was arrested for mistreatment. First taken to the barracks and then to prison in Bergamo, he awaits to be heard for the warrant interrogation and the validation of the arrest. The 38-year-old, however, was accompanied to the hospital for treatment. Her injuries (her husband broke her nose) were deemed healable in a month.
