Despite the absence of a physical convention in Germany, the Gamescom all the same took place this year. The organizers have prepared different online events, both for professionals and virtual visitors and although it is not worth the physical proximity of previous editions, it was an opportunity for the studios to announce their plan.
Just like last year, Gamescom kicked off with an opening ceremony. Presented and hosted by Geoff Keighley (who we know for the Game Awards), this pre-opening conference called Opening Night Live presented us with 38 games, of which around 20 have not yet been announced.
So of course, we were warned that there would be no huge surprises, but it all took almost two hours. We summarize all of this for you in a six-minute video to take stock of what to remember.
