As the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea showed signs of spreading again, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the 11th, confirmed one after another from all over the country.
According to the quarantine authorities and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 379 new confirmed cases were confirmed that were positive in the Corona 19 test from 0 o’clock to 9 PM on that day.

Out of 17 cities and provinces nationwide, there have been no confirmed cases in Ulsan and Sejong.
As time remains until midnight when the count is closed, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 0:00 on the 12th is expected to increase further, reaching around 400, and at most, in the early 400s.
The previous day, by midnight, the number of people increased by 58 and ended with 504.
The’third pandemic’, which started in earnest from mid-November last year, has entered a calming phase in the new year, but recently, the number of confirmed cases has increased again, showing an uneasy pattern. The number of new confirmed cases, which fell to the late 200s, has risen to the early 500s.
The number of new confirmed cases that occurred in the last week from the 4th to this day was 370 → 393 → 371 → 288 → 303 → 444 → 504 daily, with an average of 382 cases per day.
Among them, the number of confirmed cases of regional outbreaks, which is a key indicator of the adjustment of the’social distancing’ stage, averaged 351 people per day, maintaining the range of the second stage (over 300 people nationwide), but an increase of 5 people from the previous day’s 346.

In the case of major infections, 9 more confirmed cases related to the Seungri Altar facility and Ohjeong Ability Training Academy in Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the cumulative number of infections as of 4 pm is 105.
The number of confirmed cases related to the Pacific Ballroom and Tokyo Restaurant in Juyeop-dong, Ilsan, Seo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do increased by 18, to a cumulative 46.
In addition, new infections are continuing nationwide, centering on meetings, workplaces, day care centers, and bathhouses. The scale of infection of existing outbreak cases such as Antioch Church (142 people) and the anti-unification union in Seo-gu, Busan (60 people) is also increasing.
