As of 9 pm on the 6th, 370 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea were counted.
This is a decrease of 14 people compared to 384 (final 418) in the same time period the previous day. There were 304 people in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.
Including additional infections overnight, it is expected to reach around 400 people.
By region, the confirmed cases were 155 in Gyeonggi, 126 in Seoul, 23 in Incheon, 13 in Gyeongbuk, 9 in Gangwon, 8 in each of Daegu and Chungbuk, 5 in each of Chungnam, Busan, and Jeonbuk, 4 in Jeonnam, 3 in Ulsan, Gwangju and Jeju. Two each, and one each in Gyeongnam and Daejeon.
In Sejong, no confirmed cases occurred as of 9 p.m.
In Gyeonggi Province, 10 foreigners preemptive inspections and 3 Koreans occurred in Dongducheon-seo. There were also 10 confirmed cases in nearby Yangju. In addition, 7 people related to a nursing hospital in Gimpo city and 2 people related to an exercise facility in Yongin city occurred. As the incidence of group infections in the province decreased, it fell below the level of 200 people for three consecutive days, including 3 days (186 people), 4 days (173 people), and 5 days (173 people), and it is expected that there will be around 200 people on this day.
There are two more new confirmed cases in Seoul than 124 at the same time the day before. In terms of major group infections, 6 people related to Dongdaemun-gu nursing hospital, 5 people related to raw fish stores in Nowon-gu, and 2 people related to Dongdaemun-gu hospital increased. One additional confirmed person was confirmed on the day of the Yeongdeungpo-gu restaurant (accumulated 35 people) and Eunpyeong-gu sauna (accumulated 17 people). As of this month, the daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul is around 120, including 122 (March 1) → 119 (2) → 118 (3) → 129 (4) → 128 (5). I’m doing it.

In Gyeongbuk, there were 4 residents, 3 in Pohang, 2 in each of Gumi and Yecheon, and 1 in each of Cheongsong and Chilgok. It has recorded double-digit confirmed cases in five days since the last day.
In Daegu, eight people were confirmed, including one related to the Buk-gu college student acquaintance meeting. The spread related to the college acquaintance group is spreading to the family and acquaintances of the confirmed person, and to restaurant employees and users, and 31 people have been infected since the first outbreak on the 26th of last month.
Gangwon has 5 people in Jeongseon and 1 in each of Chuncheon, Gangneung, Inje, and Wonju. In Jeongseon, five additional residents related to the church in Gye-myeon were confirmed. Last month, the number of confirmed cases in the church in Critical-myeon increased to 26 in total.
In Chungbuk, two people each occurred in Jincheon, Yeongdong and Jecheon, and one each in Cheongju and Eumseong. In Jincheon, foreign workers in their twenties working at chicken processing companies were confirmed, and the cumulative number of infections from processing companies increased to 25. A foreign worker in their 30s working at an Eumseong glass processing company was also infected, and all 18 confirmed cases. There are 1 Korean and 17 foreigners.
Five people occurred in Busan, including three whose source of infection was unclear. One of them was confirmed to be an acquaintance of the confirmed case in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. Busan recorded single-digit confirmed cases in four days.
In Gyeongnam, a man in his 70s living in Miryang City died. An official from Gyeongnam Province said, “With the consent of the bereaved family, we put on cremation first and then have a funeral.”
In Jeonnam, four people were confirmed, including three related to the Yeosu family and one Jangseong-gun who visited Seoul.
In Gwangju, two more people related to the insurance company’s call center were confirmed, and there were 70 people, including employees and their families.
Jeonbuk had 4 people in Jeonju and 1 in Namwon. In Chungnam, there were two people in Cheonan and one each in Yesan, Hongseong, and Asan. There were three confirmed cases in Ulsan from Nam-gu. There were two cases in Jeju, including the contact of a confirmed patient in Yeongdo-gu, Busan.
The quarantine authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation into the movement of the confirmed patients and the contacts.
