In their first play-off participation in the fourth year of membership in the German Football League, the Potsdam Royals won the quarter-finals for the German championship with 36:23 (7: 3.7: 0.0: 6.22: 14) won against the Munich Cowboys.

In front of almost 3,000 spectators in the Karl Liebknecht Stadium in Potsdam, where Turbine Potsdam and SV Babelsberg 03 also play their home games, the Royals were the team that determined the game from the start and fully lived up to their light favorite role.
In the semi-finals, the team now has to compete at the Schwäbisch-Hall Unicorns, who won their quarter-finals against the Braunschweig Lions with 38:13. The game will take place next Sunday, the final of the German championship will follow on October 9th.
