A chartered school bus overturned off a Hutchinson River Parkway off-ramp in the Bronx (NYC) this morning, injuring 36 adults, three of them in serious condition.
The bus flipped on its side shortly before 6 a.m. while turning left off exit ramp 1A northbound onto Bruckner Boulevard, authorities said.
Thirty-six adults were being treated for injuries, according to the NYPD and FDNY. Most had minor injuries and three were in serious but stable condition, according to fire officials.
Tom Kaminski, from the news helicopter of Pix11, He noted that several people were being transported by ambulance from the scene. Police said the bus passengers were affiliated with the same company, although they did not specify which company or where they were going.
