Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister, revealed the health And the population, about the total mental health services provided to citizens in the 100 Days of Health campaign, within 100 days of its launch last June.
36.6 million medical services in the 100 Days of Health campaign
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar explained, in a statement, that 292,144 services were provided in the field of mental health, including emergency services, psychological treatment, addiction treatment for adults and adolescents, rehabilitation, psychological support, following up on complaints and responding to inquiries.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar called on all citizens to go to the campaign’s service headquarters and mobile clinic locations, to benefit from its services, or to request home visits for elderly patients and those unable to move via the hotline 15335.
Earlier, the organization explained the health Global, said that it continues to support the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population in planning to establish a comprehensive system for triaging, stabilizing the condition of patients, and medically evacuating them, through continuous training for health care workers. The organization is also cooperating with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society to ensure the availability of trauma support services for patients.
The World Health Organization explained, in a statement, that its experts visited Al-Arish, visited medical evacuation facilities, and met medical personnel and ambulance personnel who received advanced life support training.
Regarding equipment, the World Health Organization added that there are 65 ambulances equipped with full capabilities for resuscitation and life support, and there are thirteen ambulance teams that include trained emergency doctors and paramedics who have received advanced training in life support.
