Morelia.- The State Government plans to obtain some 35 thousand books at the Jalo Festival for reading that will be held next Saturday, February 10.
Donors will receive a ticket to the Los Fabulosos Cadillacs concert, announced Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla (Morena).
He said that this third edition of this festival has the purpose of strengthening education through reading, since, since the beginning of his administration, this has been one of the guiding axes.
The state president mentioned that, through the Michoacana Youth Institute, the dynamic was defined so that 35 thousand tickets are exchanged for new books that are not textbooks or have religious themes.
Likewise, 15 thousand tickets will be allocated to the hotel and restaurant industries, in order to promote the influx of visitors.
This, he added, is to encourage the population of neighboring states such as Guanajuato, Jalisco, Querétaro and the State of Mexico, to attend and stay in the Michoacan capital.

The various participating hotels will provide tickets to attend this concert, as well as 25 restaurants and bars, he reported.
He said that, in previous editions of this festival, in addition to developing conferences and a wide range of jobs for young people from Michoacan, 100 tons of food were collected that were destined to support the population of Guerrero affected by Hurricane Otis.
As well as blankets for inhabitants of communities in vulnerable situations in Michoacán, he specified and highlighted that a strategic planning has been developed for the development of this concert, so that it is carried out in a family environment and healthy coexistence.
For this reason, members of the different security corporations will be carrying out surveillance tasks to preserve order and tranquility of the attendees, he guaranteed.
