To change the engine of an old car, the state has made available a bonus of 3,500 euros. Let’s find out what it is.

In the past, people used to change the engine of their car to change it from petrol, or diesel, to methane gas. This use has always been used to save on the expenses that the cost of fuel involved in people’s pockets. Even if the impact on the environment of methane is less impressive, there is an electrical model that helps to avoid emitting carbon dioxide into the environment.
Due to the ecological transition taking place, everywhere in the world, in order to reach a goal by 2050 suitable for saving the planet from rising climate temperatures, states are helping in this regard. In Italy, at the moment, a series of bonuses are the masters. The state is providing them in various sectors, to support families and various sectors that need a radical change.
How much is the retrofit bonus and what means can be used
There is still no law that also affects motorcycles, since they too need a change. Not all car models will be affected by this bonus, but only some. Savings can reach up to 60% of the expense, for a maximum of 3,500 euros. The cost of this transformation is usually very high, but these supports can help change owners of old models.
Heavy transport vehicles and all those engine modifications made in 2021 are also affected. The nautical world is not yet interested, but many news are awaited.
The bonus will be paid for the following categories: M1G, M2G, M3G, N1G, as well as M1, M2, M3 and N1. Therefore, as stated in the ministerial norm, “All those internal combustion engines that will be transformed to electric traction”.
