REFINANCING – Thanks to an amendment approved by the Budget Committee relating to the DL Sostegni bis, a further 350 million is allocated in the form of incentives for cars. Once the final ok arrives (a passage to the Chamber is expected in the coming days and then to the Senate, with the final approval that will take place by July 25), as well as new cars, it will also be possible to have incentives used vehicles provided they are € 6 and with the simultaneous scrapping of a vehicle of at least 10 years.
HOW THEY ARE DISTRIBUTED – As explained in a note by the parent company of Italia Viva in the Chamber’s Productive Activities Commission, Sara Moretto, le resources they will be like this subdivided: € 60 million for the purchase of new electric or hybrid cars (0 and 60 g / km of CO2), 200 million for euro 6 vehicles including diesel and petrol (in the range from 61 to 135 g / km), 50 for commercial vehicles and, finally, 40 million for the purchase of used cars Euro 6. The incentives will be valid until 31 December 2021.
FOR THE USED – The insiders anxiously awaited the financing of the incentives for the purchase of used vehicles which, however, will have a lower amount than previously leaked. By purchasing a Euro 6 diesel or petrol used car or an electric or hybrid car, with the simultaneous scrapping of a car of at least 10 years, you will be entitled to a different amount depending on the vehicle’s emissions. The contributions will be divided as follows:
- The cars of the band 0-60 g/km of CO2 (electric and plug-in hybrid) will receive a contribution of 2.000 euro;
- For cars that fall within the range 61-90 g/km of CO2 (Euro 6d) you will be entitled to 1.000 euro;
- For cars belonging to the range 91-160 g/km of CO2 the contribution is 750 euro.
The limitations concern the purchase price of used cars, which must not exceed 25,000 euros, furthermore the concessions cannot be requested by those who have already benefited from the previous incentives (law 30 December 2018 and 30 December 2020).
FOR THE NEW – The scheme of contributions for the purchase of new vehicles instead it provides for the following contributions:
- 0-20 g/km CO2: 10.000 euro with scrapping and 6.000 euro without scrapping;
- 21-60 g/km CO2: 6.500 euro with scrapping and 3.500 euro without scrapping;
- 61-135 g/km CO2: 3.500 euro (contribution paid only with scrapping).
