A 35-year-old woman died last night shortly after being found on the sidewalk of a luxurious Upper East Side skyscraper with injuries consistent with a fall, the NYPD said.
The woman was discovered around 6:45 p.m. Thursday outside The Brittany, a luxury apartment building on the corner of York Avenue and East 92nd St. a few blocks from Gracie Mansion, official residence of the mayor of New York.
His injuries were indicative of a fall from an “elevated surface,” police said. She was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital in critical condition, but later succumbed. to his wounds.
The Brittany is a luxury apartment building noted for its “incredible panoramic water views” of the East and Harlem rivers, reported New York Post.
