After the community has voiced its disaffection with Halo: Infinite’s in-game kickback, 343 Industries will be overhauling this aspect of the game. Jerry Hook, a prominent member of the development team, made the announcement on Twitter.
The fuss around the shop is mainly for two reasons. First of all, the price — a full armor set will easily cost you two tens — but also the bundles. Many cosmetic sets can only be bought as a whole, which is not useful if you only want to put on the helmet, for example.
For this reason, from next Tuesday the offer will change every week, items will be offered separately in bundles and prices will be reduced. Whether that’s enough to satisfy disappointed players? We will see.
Starting Tuesday, the Shop experience will vary week-to-week. We are focused on reducing pricing across the board, providing stronger values in our bundles, starting to put individual items outside of bundles, and more.
