According to the police, the man had driven his Opel Corsa on the B 7 from Warburg towards Scherfede at around 9 p.m. Before entering Ossendorf, the Corsa turned right off the lane and collided with a warning beacon.
The driver turned his car back onto the road. In Ossendorf the car came off the road again to the right on the street Zum Warburger Tor. The car hit a tree. Parts of the root system were torn from the ground.
