Florida mansion lighting… ‘Distance’ from father
Photo = Ivanka Trump Instagram capture As her father, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, is a ‘real estate tycoon’, attention to real estate owned by his family is increasing after his election. Benzinga, an American investment media outlet, reported in detail on the 13th (local time) about the Miami mansion of eldest daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner.
According to Benzinga, U.S. real estate site Realtor.com analyzed real estate records and found that the couple purchased a six-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom mansion from billionaire Alex Meruelo in April 2021. They spent $24 million (approximately 33.8 billion won) to transform the neoclassical architectural style mansion into one of the most notable modern mansions in Miami.
According to the realtor, the rebuilt home maintains many of its original architectural features, including 26-foot ceilings, open living spaces, and the signature double staircase. The new addition includes a chef’s kitchen next to the kitchen and dining room, and a master suite with a spa bathroom.
Outdoor facilities also received attention. The swimming pool has been completely rebuilt and now features modern wellness facilities including a sauna, steam room and cold bath. There is also a private boat launch, providing direct access to Biscayne Bay.
Indian Creek Island, where Ivanka Trump’s home is located, is so private that it is nicknamed the ‘billionaire bunker.’ It has only 34 houses and operates its own security organization. Neighbors include Jeff Bezos and legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Before moving into the mansion late last year, the couple lived in a $17 million (23.9 billion won) six-bedroom beachfront apartment.
Since completion, the mansion has already hosted several gatherings, including wellness events and family events, and is being evaluated as having set a new milestone in Miami’s luxury residences. This is also an example of changes in President-elect Trump’s family’s Florida real estate activities.
Unlike these couples, other families settled further north. Eric and Donald Trump Jr. have a home in Jupiter, close to the president-elect’s Mar-a-Lago vacation home. “The Trump family’s residences across Florida’s affluent coastal communities demonstrate their continued investment in the luxury, security-inclusive real estate market,” Benzinga said.
During this presidential election, Ivanka Trump’s somewhat awkward relationship with her father was exposed to the media several times, sparking speculation that their relationship may have become distant. A video of President-elect Trump, who confirmed his election, appears to exclude Ivanka while enjoying a party with his family was released through granddaughter Kai Trump’s social media, and during the presidential election, he wore a bright blue suit from top to bottom instead of red, the symbolic color of the Republican Party, away from his father. The appearance of falling also attracted attention. He even took his daughter to a performance by singer Taylor Swift, whom her father said he openly disliked.
