The Sitary and Epidemiological Service of Belarus checked goods for schoolchildren and recognized more than 3,300 units of products as unsafe for children’s health.
Among them:
- 1646 items of clothing;
- 526 hosiery and underwear;
- 253 pairs of shoes;
- 381 stationery sets (pens, pencils, paints, etc.);
- 35 knapsacks (briefcases, backpacks).
All this, which is recognized as unsafe, was forbidden to be sold in Belarus, said tg-channel “Official Ministry of Health”.
Common Violations:
- lack of labeling on products or their non-compliance with established requirements;
- lack of documents confirming the quality and safety of goods;
- violation of the conditions of storage and sale of school goods.
