33 new corona cases in Hamburg – incidence value continues to fall | NDR.de – Nachrichten – Hamburg

According to the social authorities, 33 new corona cases were registered in Hamburg on Saturday. That is 16 new infections less than a week ago and five more than on Friday.

According to the social welfare authority, a total of 77,098 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 74,600 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

Incidence value at 11.6

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell to 11.6. On Friday the incidence value was 12.4, on the Friday a week ago it was 15.8.

Another death

According to the social welfare authority, 46 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 24 of whom are cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,586 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. Another death was registered within one day.
